About this deal

It appears that the Plaid Cymru ruling group in Gwynedd County Council is about to implode during the New Year. I was raped by Dafydd y Dug as a 16 year old, he held me in a stranglehold whilst he buggered me against my will against the wall of the Theological Collage in Aberystwyth. There is an important difference between a Christian believing that certain practices, are sins and exhorting and encouraging members of his church to avoid them and believing that the activity is a crime for which all members of society caught engaging in it should be punished by the state. After saying that some biblical verses say that homosexuality is a sin Mr Miller added that he doesn’t believe that anybody should be discriminated against because of his or her sexuality. There is a lot we would like to change about the EU, but we can only do that from within. There's no point shouting from the sidelines. We choose instead to work with our sister parties in the

Britain is currently the 4th richest economy in the world. The problem is that the majority don't benefit from that wealth. 10% of Britian's population own two-thirds, maybe even three-quarters of that wealth. Over the last 30 years inequality has sharpened. Socialists say we should tax the rich till the pips squeak to rebuild the welfare state, Plaid's economic strategy panders to this set-up and can only mean the continuation of profound inequality of power and wealth that has profound dangers for our society and our democracy.

He consistently cites Ireland as a model ignoring that the "boom" has seen a massive increase in inequality and child poverty and exploitation. When the Electoral Commission decided last Wednesday that there should be no officially designated Yes and No campaigns, Yes For Wales Ltd, the only bidder for the Yes lead designation, put out a statement saying that despite the Commission's decision that the company would remain the official leader of the Yes campaign because it retained the support of all the other groups who had registered support for a Yes vote. Fair enough. People may remember that Hafod was shamed by socialists when Forward Wales adopted the slogan "Putting Wales First". As the radical left commented such a slogan "Put Wales first" could only be interpreted as we need to put Wales (rich and poor) ahead of other countries because we are Welsh.

Plaid is predicated on the idea of getting the best deal from Westminster or the best deal from EU subsidies - always within the framework of existing neoliberalism. The Plaid left want to ameliorate the worst effects of neoliberalism but ultimately end up sucumbing to neoliberalism. Really what Wales needs is a workers’ organisation composed of women and men who don’t simply favour one section of the world’s capitalists over another, but are determined to finish with capitalism once and for all and build . . . socialism. He spent much of his pre-graduate life behind walls and in cages for the protection of society, and much of his later life doped in self-administered sedation. I saw more coverage of the US Democrat / Republican elections on the BBC than I saw of coverage of the National Assembly Elections; I saw more coverage of the US Caucuses than I saw of the Welsh Labour Conference. The 'party of Wales' has certainly shifted its political rhetoric since conception 64 years ago. In 1925, Ambrose Bebb, one of Plaid Cymru's founding leaders and admirer of the French fascist movement, Action Française, placed the party well to the right. He announced that Wales needed a Mussolini and, with Saunders Lewis, a campaign was launched to establish an independent Wales managed by "small capitalists". English was to be "annihilated" and Welsh made the only language. I was excited by the Welsh Government / EU proposal to give Superfast Broadband to Welsh Rural Communities. Wouldn't it have been great if the "socialists" in Plaid had said, "Why is there always a blank cheque for war but no blank cheque to eliminate child poverty?": Killing children or lifting them out of poverty? By supporting St Athan's the Plaid "Left" have immorally chosen the latter. With regard to the case in Pembrokeshire, I rather suspect some dodgy shenanigans there. Keith was a member of the Labour Party and the Mayor of Pembroke at the time.." Those of you who eagerly await my pearls of wisdom are going to be disappointed until after Christmas. Apart from Christmas being a busy time for parents and apart from the MOF suffering from a stinking cold, I have a lot on my plate at the moment. The most interesting task being a War Pensions Appeal Tribunal next week that I am the rep for, which should prove significant to the Gulf War Syndrome debate whatever the outcome - details will be posted after the verdict!
