About this deal

One of the standout features for me is the intuitive Pro Pen 2 that's included. It feels like an extension of my hand and offers incredible accuracy and very little lag which I've found on cheaper tablets. Straight out of the box with the default settings, I found it to be slightly too sensitive but you can change everything from the tip feel to the tilt sensitivity and the pressure sensitivity which adds another layer of realism and makes using the pen feel very natural. Wacom Intuos Pro Medium: Performance The Intuos Pro follows the classic design where you have all the shortcut buttons on the left and drawing area on the right. The Wacom Pro Pen 2’s stand stores additional nubs. The pen itself has two customizable buttons – flip it upside down and you can use it as an eraser. The tablet itself has rubber grip on the bottom to keep it in place, and its slim profile makes it easy to travel with or store away when space is limited. In use There are a lot of cheap devices in the market which try to match the Intuos pro in terms of numbers and specs list.

The Wacom Intuos Pro tablet is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, so it occupies less real-estate on your desk. Despite this, the active area is larger thanks to a slimmer bezel and he surface plate can be swapped for a variety of different textures depending on your preferences. The Wacom Intuos Pro is designed to imitate a large piece of paper There are two types of pen nibs that come with Intuos Pro. The first one is the standard tip which is smoother and has less friction and makes less noise while drawing. The other type is the “Felt Nib”– it has more resistance and a slightly more grippy feel on the surface. Pen Stand Paper edition of the Wacom Intuos Pro is like a 2 in one device. It works like a normal Intuos Pro – but can also convert your paper drawing into digital files with the help of a special pen. But a good tablet is not all about specs. What sets the Intuos Pro apart from all the other tablets in the market is its quality.

Pen and touch technology

The way we as a society "worked through" on the job injuries was that the employer would let go of the injured (unproductive) worker and replace them with a new worker who wasn't injured yet. This allowed the project to continue, the bridge to be built, etc. The individual and his family was sacrificed for the advancement of the community. LIterally thousands of men were killed or injured getting our cities built before we had better technology. For those who are left-handed – You can simply rotate the device by 180° and change the settings to the left-handed mode in the driver settings.

The tablet's pressure sensitivity is very useful especially when using the tablet for drawing purposes as it does a good job of replicating traditional art materials. If you want the added features but not the size, a smaller option is available. With a 7.4in screen and weighing less than a pound, the Wacom Intuos Pro Small is wonderfully portable. Be aware, though, that unlike the medium and large versions of this model, you won’t get the extra pen color rings and texture sheet sample card.

The premium Pro Pen 2, supplied with the tablet, is one of the best styluses around (save of course for the recent Pro Pen 3 that comes with the new Cintiq Pro tablets), and it never needs charging. With pressure and tilt sensitivity, it gives you real drawing flexibility, and the level of “bite” on the stylus is just right. The medium and large models come with a total of eight shortcut button which is divided into two groups of 4 button. In terms of price – you may have already guessed the smaller Intuos Pro is the least expensive followed by the medium and Large Intuos Pro models. Now some of you may say it depends on your budget and how much money you are willing to spend – which is right.

The medium version sports a slightly smaller physical footprint than its predecessor and yet gains a larger active area. Depending on your desk size you could place it alongside your keyboard if you prefer not to use the ExpressKeys and touch ring. However, taking advantage of these time-saving features and shortcuts is far more productive. It’s also wireless, with Bluetooth 4.2 helping you to declutter your desktop and work from your sofa. Wacom Pro Pen 2 Similarly, the pressure of the pen is well calibrated and you will not get weird pressure bumps and other pressure inconsistencies. The Wacom Pro Pen 2 is comfortable to hold for long periods of time, and has impressive pressure sensitivity Of course, Photoshop is not the only application the Intuous Pro is good for; I also used the tablet to work on images in Adobe Lightroom. And while it was useful for cloning and healing, I found it to be a little unwieldy when making adjustments to the slider. Ultimately I think I still prefer utilizing the mouse and the keyboard shortcuts that have been burned into my muscle memory for Lightroom work. Bottom line

A stylus is one of the most important parts of a drawing tablet. Some even consider it more important than the tablet itself. The best thing about this tablet is the excellent ergonomics. Most notably, there's a new VESA mount that can be combined with its adjustable stand (or indeed any VESA-compatible arm or stand) to give you extra flexibility in positioning.
